- Ref soyoil ended with losses tracking weakness in spot demand and on higher stockpiles in domestic market.
- Recently, Ministry of Commerce raised import duty on crude and refined oil to 15% and 25 % from 7.5% and 15% earlier.
- As per SOPA, arrivals of soybean were at 74 lakh tonnes (lt) in Oct-Jul, up from 54.5 lt a year ago, while stocks with farmers are at 30.9 lt.
- At the Indore spot market in Madhya Pradesh, soyoil was steady at 655.95 Rupees per 10 kgs.
