• Maize trading range for the day is 1464-1494. 
  
• Maize gained tracking firmness in spot demand and overseas prices despite of rising estimates on South America's corn output. 
• The market's attention is shifting to the planting of the 2017 U.S. corn, focusing on weather in the core Midwest production belt. 
• The USDA said the corn crop was 3 percent seeded by April 9, matching the five-year average. 
• In Nizamabad maize spot prices gained 8.1 Rupees to 1488.65 Rupees per 100kgs.
