Cardamom trading range for the day is 1428.8-1519.6. Cardamom prices dropped on profit booking after prices gained recently on good buying support amid a squeeze in supplies. As nearly 90 per cent of the harvesting is said to be over, the arrivals were showing shrinkage. Exporters have slowed down following the sharp rise in the prices which remained above Rs. 1,300 a kg last week. Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 12.80 rupees and settled at 1427.60 rupees.
