Maize trading range for the day is 1424-1440. Maize prices ended with small gains tracking firmness in spot demand and overseas prices. In India, maize has been sown in around 8.99 lakh hec as on 9th December’ 16 which is higher than 8.63 lakh hec. NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 508 tonnes to 5548 tonnes.
