Maize prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand and overseas prices.
At Khanna market in Punjab total arrivals are at 1050 Quintal, higher by 150 Quintal as against previous day.
South Africa will likely harvest 7.255 million tonnes of maize in 2016, 27 percent less than the 9.95 million tonnes reaped last year.
In Nizamabad maize prices gained 0.38 rupee to end at 1449 rupees per 100 kg.
