Cardamom prices ended with losses on heavy arrivals due to bumper production in the producing regions.
Small cardamom markets remained steady with marginal fluctuations at last week’s auctions held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
North Indian buyers stayed away from the declining market. Despite having three auction holidays, the market was sluggish.
Cardamom prices in spot market gained by 3.70 rupees and settled at 702.90 rupees.
