Soyabean gained on short covering after prices dropped as lower soybean crushing reflected lower demand in the domestic markets.
Exports of soybean meal hit a historical low of 55,889 tonnes in the first eight months of current financial year.
NCDEX accredited warehouses soyabean stocks gained by 180 tonnes to 71509 tonnes.
At the Indore spot market in top producer MP, soybean dropped -22 rupee to 3664 rupee per 100 kgs.
