Maize prices ended with losses tracking weakness in spot demand amid profit booking.
As per Government data, maize have been sown in 3.43 lakh hectares as on now, higher by 0.11 lakh hectares than the corresponding period of last year.
USDA report estimates World production to drop by 3.4% to 974.9 MMT compared to 1008.7 MMT last year.
