Turmeric prices ended with losses due to the arrival of medium quality turmeric at the spot market.
As per latest data from Telengana’s state agri dept, acreage has been put at 40830 ha versus 44623 ha a year ago.
Reports of crop damage from unseasonal rains during sowing period too were there.
