Ref soyoil prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand after Govt hikes import duty on refined.
Govt hikes import duty on refined oil to 20% from 15% Imports of vegetable oils, rose by 23% to 11.72 million tons during November-August period as against 9.52 million tons in the same period last year.
At the Indore spot market in Madhya Pradesh, soyoil was steady at 573.45 rupees per 10 kgs.
