Ref soyoil prices ended with gains amid short covering tracking firmness in spot demand.
India's soyoil imports jumped to 349,436 tons in July, its highest since August 2001 and compared to 306,068 tons for the same period a year ago.
India soymeal exports in the month of July plunged 86.01% from a year earlier on higher prices of the soybean in the local market.
