Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1048.60 per 1kg. Spot prices is up by Rs.1.80/-.
Mentha oil prices gained on account of lower arrivals from the major producing belts along with lower production.
Further, expectations of pick up in export and domestic demand in coming weeks too added support to mentha oil prices.
As per latest reports Mentha Oil export in 2014-15 exceeded the targeted 21k tonnes by 23% at 25750 tonnes.
