Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1046.80 per 1kg. Spot prices is up by Rs.2.30/-.
Mentha oil settled up on account of demand started picking up in the mandis while resistance is at 956 level.
Demand could start rising in the coming days that could support the prices.
With prices having fallen a lot, export and domestic demand are likely to pick up in coming weeks.
As per latest reports Mentha Oil export in 2014-15 exceeded the targeted 21000 tonnes by 23% at 25750 tonnes.
