Mustard seed prices gained on lower arrivals, indicating tight supply situation and on higher demand for the seeds in export market.
Mustard production in Gujarat may tumble 37% to 306,000 tons during 2014-15 against 486,000 tons a year ago, according to third advance estimates.
NCDEX accredited warehouses mustard seed stocks gained by 4844 tonnes to 19037 tonnes.
