Turmeric settled flat due to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists in the spot market.
Sowing of Turmeric in AP for the 2014-15 season is reported at 0.13 lakh ha, as against 0.1 lakh ha last year.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks gained by 30 tonnes to 7266 tonnes.
