Menthaoil spot is at 1051/-. Spot market is down by Rs.19/-. Mentha oil prices ended with losses amid lower demand from consuming industries in the spot market.
Further, ample stocks position in the physical market too added pressure on mentha oil prices.
Mentha oil production is expected to fall this year by 30 per cent to 40,000 tonnes from 55,000 tonnes a year ago.
