Maize prices dropped after traders minimised their holdings in view of weakness in physical market sentiments.
Govt has revised down production estimate for kharif maize from 16.46 to 16.25 million tonne in the 3rd adv estimate.
NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 1959 tonnes to 11009 tonnes.
