Crude oil prices rose by 0.13 per cent on Wednesday at the domestic markets after industry data showed US oil inventories mixed in the past week. The American Petroleum Institute said that crude oil stocks rose 2.9 million barrels last week, while distillates fell 296,000 barrels and gasoline stocks gained 530,000 barrels. The figures set the tone for more closely watched data from the US Department of Energy due on Wednesday. At the MCX, crude oil futures for February 2015 contract were trading at Rs. 3,142 per barrel, up by 0.13 per cent, after opening at Rs. 3,148 against the previous closing price of Rs. 3,138.Visit Here
