Turmeric prices gained taking positive cues from the spot market on rising export demand.
Furthermore, improved demand in the domestic spot market against tight supplies from growing regions also supported upside.
The total production of turmeric in the current year is expected to be around 35-37 lakh bags against 52 lakh bags of the last year.
