Jeera settled down -1.03% at 11090 on slack demand from local buyers and below-expected overseas demand amid sufficient supplies in the local market.
Jeera market as traders estimated that around 7-8 lakh bags of Jeera has been reported in major producing areas , up almost 3-4 lakh bags from the previous year. However, bargain buying might support recovery at lower levels in medium term on strong export data reports. As per the latest spices export data released by the spices board of India, India exported Cumin of 86,500 MT for Rs. 1150.56 crores during the period April to November 2013,
