Maize trading range for the day is 1212-1226.Maize ended with gains on short covering amid firm spot demand after prices dropped due to strong sowing progress.
The total sowing acreage of rabi maize reported at 11.46 lakh hectares up 13% from the last year in the same period.
NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 511 tonnes to 11699 tonnes.
Technically market is under fresh buying as market has witnessed gain in open interest by 0.91% to settled at 18950
