Mustard seed dropped on the heels of strong sowing progress of mustard seed in major producing states along with sluggish demand
The total sowing acreage of mustard seed, 2013 reported at 66.52 lakh hectares against 63.14 lakh hectares in the same time last year.
Sowing progress still reported higher acreage so far in the current year.
In the Alwar spot market in Rajasthan the price dropped -39.9 rupee to 3713 rupees per 20kgs.
