Turmeric trading range for the day is 4735-4883.
Turmeric rose supported by overseas demand amid thin local supply, though higher carry forward stocks capped the gains.
Some demand from North India was there but poor quality arrivals have been pressurizing prices.
Currently, traders and farmers are holding over more 30 lakh bags of turmeric with them.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 4954.15 rupees remains unchanged at0 rupees.
