Potato prices rose by 0.29 per cent on Friday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as the traders enlarged their holdings on account of a surge in the demand for the commodity in the market. Potato futures for September 2013 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs 790 per 100 kg, up by 0.29 per cent after opening at Rs. 778 against the previous closing price of Rs. 787.70.Visit Here
