Turmeric fell due to higher carry-forward stocks and on favourable weather.
Sentiment is weak because stocks are very high and demand is not as expected.
The Nizamabad turmeric arrivals were reported stable at 2,000 bags and the arrivals in the Erode mandi spurted to 6000 bags
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 5168.45 rupees dropped -50 rupees.
