Turmeric trading range for the day is 5740-5908.
Turmeric dropped as good progress in sowing weighed on prices but downside was seen limited due to a drop in daily local supplies.
Fresh export inquiries have also started coming in but any sharp upside is unlikely because sowing is progressing well
The pace of sowing has helped and yields are expected to benefit from the recent rains.
