crude oil in the world’s biggest fuel consuming nation. US crude oil inventories rose 5.06 million barrels to 390.7 million barrels last week, the American Petroleum Institute said. At the MCX, crude oil futures for April 2013 contract were trading at Rs. 5,118 per barrel, down by 0.29 per cent, after opening at Rs. 5,122 against the previous closing price of Rs. 5,133. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 5,114 till the trading.
