Turmeric settled flat as supplies from the new season crop and mounting stocks weighed on prices.
About 10,000-12,000 bags from the new crop are arriving daily at the Nizamabad market in Andhra Pradesh.
The crop size in Tamilnadu is expected to be lower and the arrivals are quite thin compared to the last year.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 5470.85 rupees gained by 10.85 rupees.
