Cardamom prices reverses its previous day’s losses, rising by 0.79 per cent on Thursday at the domestic markets as a result of good buying support from both exporters and upcountry buyers and also on hopes of improved export demand ahead of winter season. At MCX, Cardamom futures for January 2013 contract were trading at Rs. 1,007.90 per kg, up by 0.79 per cent, after opening at Rs. 1,006.90 against the previous closing price of Rs. 1,000. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 1,013.90 till the trading.
