Among the varieties, new crop from Punjab quoted in the range of Rs 600-700 per quintal (Rs 440-520 per quintal as on 22nd December 2012). UP Sugar free variety quoted at Rs 600-700 per quintal (Rs 440-560 per quintal as on 22nd December 2012).The MCX Potato March contract traded in the range of Rs 713-729.50 and was quoting at Rs 729.50, up by 1.94% from the last close.
