Mentha oil prices rose by 2.59 per cent on Monday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to the increased domestic as well as exports demand in the midst of reports of lower output this season. At MCX, Mentha oil futures for November 2012 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs.1,345 per kg, up by 2.59 per cent after opening at Rs. 1,327.80 against the previous closing price of Rs. 1,311.10.
