Turmeric trading range for the day is 5121-5549.
Turmeric yesterday settled down as mounting stocks weighed on prices.
Demand has improved and is expected to stay firm ahead of festivals and on falling supplies from the old crop
Some traders in North India placed orders with Warangal and Nizamabad as prices there are cheaper than Erode.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 5218.45 rupees gained 43.45 rupees.
